What The Warranty Covers

Founders Tires warrants eligible tires and tubes sold new to the original purchaser against defects in workmanship and materials during the original tread life.

• The warranty ends at the earlier of 2/32 inch remaining tread depth or five years from purchase.
• If proof of purchase is unavailable, the five-year window is measured from the DOT manufacture date.
• Coverage applies only to the original owner when the tire is used for its designed vehicle and application.

Prorated Adjustment Program

If a covered defect is confirmed before the tire reaches the wear limit, the owner may receive a comparable replacement tire on a prorated basis.

• The worn percentage of usable tread is applied against the original tire value.
• The owner remains responsible for mounting, balancing, taxes, and service charges.
• Ride disturbance claims are limited to tires with 10% or less tread wear.

Not Covered

• Improper mounting, balancing, tube installation, repair, or recapping.
• Road hazards, punctures, cuts, bruises, impact damage, or collision.
• Improper maintenance, misapplication, misalignment, overloading, or underinflation.
• Heat, chemical contamination, sealants, abuse, racing, vandalism, or storage damage.

Owner Obligations

• Maintain proper inflation and rotation practices.
• Inspect tires regularly for cuts, bulges, cracking, or irregular wear.
• Follow all printed instructions and sidewall guidance.
• Remove damaged tires from service immediately and seek professional review.

How To Start A Claim

1. Email clear photos of the tire, the DOT number, the tread, and the issue area to [email protected].
2. Include order details, purchase date if available, and a short description of the concern.
3. Be prepared to present the tire to an authorized Founders dealer if inspection is requested.
