305 Tires + Super Single Rear Tire Setup

Those 2 extra rear tires aren't doing you any favors.

Super singles eliminate the debris gap on duallies that can ruin your day, have less rolling resistance and have better traction dynamics.

Why Duallys Struggle Off Road

The gap between dual tires catches rocks, sticks, and debris that can wedge tight enough to disable a truck mid-route. On soft surfaces, the narrow footprint punches through instead of floating.

Super singles eliminate the problem at the source, one wide tire, no gap, better flotation, cleaner behavior through mud, sand, and snow.

  • No gap for rocks or sticks to wedge into
  • Wider contact patch on soft surfaces
  • Cleaner off-road behavior on all terrain types

Your dually is collecting rocks.
This is not a flex.

The gap between dual rear tires is an open invitation for every rock, branch, and chunk of debris the trail throws at you. It looks funny until it's your truck sitting sideways on a ridge with a locked wheel and no cell signal.

Rock stuck in dually gap causing damage
Not with super singles Every trail has rocks.
Duallies collect them.

Super singles eliminate the gap entirely. One wide tire across the rear axle means there's no trap, no pinch point, and no debris magnet. Better traction, better off-road behavior, and one less thing that can strand your truck on a trail where help is a long walk away.

Build Your Kit

4 Steps to Your Super Single Kit

Super single conversions aren't a straight add-to-cart. There are too many variables, chassis, engine, suspension, individual truck differences, to get it right without a process. Here's how it works.

Step One 01

Call Us First.

Engine configuration, suspension setup, axle type, and the dozens of small differences between model years mean we cannot responsibly hand you a kit without talking first. There are too many variables for a generic fitment to work reliably.

Have your year, make, and exact model ready, and any notes on existing modifications. The more you give us upfront, the faster we can put together the right package.

  • Year, make, and exact model (not just "F-350", be specific)
  • Engine configuration and 4WD or 2WD
  • Any existing lift, suspension, or wheel modifications
  • Your primary use case, fire service, fleet, off-road, or mixed

Step Two 02

Choose Your Lift Kit.

The 305 platform needs proper clearance to work through the full steering and suspension range. A lift isn't optional, it's part of the system. We carry two Ford Super Duty leveling paths depending on whether your truck needs track bar correction.

2.5 inch leveling kit for Ford Super Duty

2.5" Front Leveling Kit

The baseline leveling path for Ford Super Duty 4WD applications where the truck can accept the 305 fitment without added track bar correction.

  • Built around coil spring spacers and related hardware
  • Common path for 2005–2025 Super Duty applications
  • Right choice when a clean 2.5" front level is sufficient
2.5 inch leveling kit with relocation bracket

2.5" Leveling + Relocation Bracket

The more complete option for Super Duty trucks where front track bar correction is needed to get the fitment fully right.

  • Includes track bar relocation where required
  • Better option when the truck needs the full correction path
  • Still centered on a clean 2.5" front leveling approach
Step Three 03

Choose Your Wheels.

All three finishes are forged aluminum, lightweight, strong, and load-rated for the demands of a 305 super single conversion. The choice is purely aesthetic.

Machined aluminum super single wheel

Machined

Classic machined aluminum. Shows the material, no paint to chip. High load capacity, easy to maintain.

Matte black super single wheel

Matte Black

Corrosion-resistant matte black finish. Clean, aggressive look for fleets and work trucks.

Beadlock super single wheel

Beadlock

Built for off-road abuse and heavy service. Confidence over rough terrain where bead retention matters.

Step Four 04

Choose Your Tire.

Both tires are 305/70R19.5 and both are built to the same severe-duty construction standard. The difference is how you split your time between pavement and terrain.

Mud Terrain

305 M/T

When the terrain is the priority and road noise is not a concern.

  • Maximum traction in mud, sand, and soft terrain
  • Aggressive open tread sheds debris and self-cleans
  • Fire service and severe-duty fleet proven
  • Best for primarily off-road or access-route use
  • More tread noise on pavement, the tradeoff for grip
Founders 305 A/T all-terrain tire
All Terrain

305 A/T

When you need real terrain capability without giving up the highway.

  • Quieter on pavement, manageable for daily driving
  • Still handles mud, gravel, and off-road access routes
  • Better balance for mixed highway/trail use
  • Good choice for overland builds and mixed-duty trucks
  • Less aggressive than the M/T when conditions get extreme

They converted our grass truck from one that got stuck whenever we ventured into a wet location, to a very effective grass truck that has not gotten stuck yet. It throws a lot of mud but gets you where you need to go.

We've run over stumps, logs, up very steep terrain in the woods, deep mud, deep snow, stuck substantially less. I'd give these an 8–9 out of 10.

Tires have been treating us very well! Been out on a few brush fires and they go down the road great and travel through sand and mud perfectly!
