The Origin

Started in Fire Service. Proven Everywhere Else.

Founders Tires was built to solve a problem the fire service already knew about: the tires available for heavy-duty trucks were either designed for highway work or for off-road sport, but nothing in between was built for the actual demands of the job.

Working directly with fire departments, fleet operators, and the truck owners who live on the clock, we developed a line of mud-terrain and all-terrain tires that meet real performance thresholds, in conditions where the tire is the last piece of equipment between the crew and the objective.

That same standard now applies to every truck in our customer base. Whether you're running a municipal utility fleet, a wildland apparatus, or a work truck that needs to go where the job takes it, Founders is built to the same specification we developed in partnership with the fire service.
